BIOGRAPHY
Louis Blain is a certified professional accountant and auditor with a successful career. He has extensive professional experience in various fields such as accounting, entrepreneurship, and financial advisory services, including M&A and corporate finance. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Quebec in Montreal and also studied at Cégep du Vieux Montréal.
After starting his career at Moquin, Ménard, Giroux, Chartered Accountants, Louis co-founded Blain, Joyal, Charbonneau, Chartered Accountants, S.E.N.C.R.L with his colleagues Yves Joyal and Yves Charbonneau. For 27 years, they worked together to develop the firm’s client base, making it one of the largest and most renowned in the Montérégie region. Within the firm, Louis specialized in certification mandates, business acquisitions and sales, asset protection, business valuation, management consulting, and strategic financing.
In May 2023, Louis joined the EC2 team to share his expertise with entrepreneurs. As an M&A and corporate finance expert at EC2, he brings his knowledge and extensive network to help businesses achieve their growth objectives. His presence strengthens the firm’s expertise in these key areas, offering tailored solutions and insightful advice to clients.
In addition to his professional career, Louis Blain has been actively involved in the Montérégie community. He received the prestigious “CA émérite” award in the “community” category in recognition of his exceptional contributions in various areas, whether professional, social, political, cultural, or sporting. His experience and commitment make him a highly respected professional in his field.
